On a rocky headland, battered by wind and
waves of the North Atlantic ocean, stands the Cape Bonavista Lighthouse.
The lighthouse is now restored to the 1870 period when the lightkeeper,
his assistant and the assistant's family were all living there ensuring
the safety of passing vessels.
