The majority of the icebergs floating in
the North Atlantic ocean originate from approximately 100 iceberg
producing glaciers along the Greenland coast. A smaller number of icebergs
originate in the Eastern Canadian Arctic Islands.
The photographs on this page are a
representative selection of iceberg photographs composed by G. Mark Lane
in 2004. Many of the icebergs featured on this page were photographed in
