The majority of the icebergs floating in the North Atlantic ocean originate from approximately 100 iceberg producing glaciers along the Greenland coast. A smaller number of icebergs originate in the Eastern Canadian Arctic Islands.

The photographs on this page are a representative selection of iceberg photographs composed by G. Mark Lane in 2004. Many of the icebergs featured on this page were photographed in Labrador in June 2004. For more additional photographs of icebergs visit: www.newlabphoto.com .
